Frequently Asked Questions
Samarpan is a Sanskrit word meaning “to let go,” and meditation is a natural process that happens effortlessly when we truly let go. Our intention, when sitting for meditation, is to let go of our effort to meditate and any expectations; to give ourselves the space to be still and let our inner self — the guru within — guide us in a process of awakening that occurs naturally with this meditation. Practicing Samarpan Meditation can lead to a variety of benefits, including: increased sense of calm, general happiness, inner peace, enhanced sense of humor, positive outlook, self-awareness, and acceptance. Each individual's experience may vary, and the benefits often deepen with regular practice.
Despite the many distractions and pressures in life, stillness and peace are our natural states. Meditation helps reconnect us with these states. With consistent practice, meditation becomes a habit, allowing us to maintain inner peace and stability regardless of external circumstances.
Progress in Samarpan Meditation is supported by two key features: a constant connection with a fully realised Soul and the principle of collectivity — meditating with others. Weekly Samarpan Meditation centers provide a space for collective meditation, enhancing the flow of vibrations and connecting you with a positive community.
